Good question Matt, I am looking for similar info in the state of Georgia if you get any responses.

You could call zoning and ask or apply for a variance, but it is unlikely, from my understanding, to be able to convince them that the conversion complies with the following guidelines: The variance is in harmony with the general purposes and intent of the zoning code.

The monetization loan lets you walk away from the closing with cash that can be used for any purpose.

Since I got my contractor's license at the beginning of the year (mainly for my own real estate purposes), I will be contracting them myself.
