If you are trying to say, your rental period is from the 1st of the month, but your rent is due by 28th of the prior month, I suspect you are going to have an unpleasant encounter with the Landlord Tenant Board.There are times when it makes sense to set the monthly period on a date other than the first of the month, but logistically it will be far easier for you and your tenants if you stick with the first of the month ... especially if you have plans to increase the number of units in your portfolio.

Trying to think of the scam or angle, but having a tough time coming up with something.If the other agent says that the price is right, then ask your partner to relist the properties with this other agent (they should get something for the work they've done for you) because clearly this guy is either screwing something up intentionally, is a crappy marketer or something like that.
