The last avenue of recourse would be civil court - as @Steven Stokes indicated, only the lawyers win ... unless you managed to secure substantial damages.

I looked and there is no law protected Transgender people, but I read where it could be viewed that this is dicrimination based on sex which is covered under the Civil Rights Act of 1964.So maybe look for another reason to reject the prospective renter?

Then your attorney can ask the cops to testify in your civil suit after he files a false report for trespass.
