Condition of apartment, is when you take possession.. prior to that you have no claim.Do a walk thru within a week of closing.. and from that point on you deduct for damages..Prior is previous landlord, and looks like he's selling because the people are pigs.. might be hard to get rid of them ??

The loan itself would be considered a "Jumbo" loan (meaning over $424k) which means Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (conventional lenders) won't lend that high...so you cannot gain access to their renovation loan.

Like a lot of the podcast guests say, perseverance and drive really sets apart the successful ones from the failures. 90% of the issues just required a phone call...I have found this to be true as well, sometimes it takes a while to find the right person/office to call but once you get to the right person they are usually able to take down the barrier pretty easily.
