I always like someone to be there on the premises to let me in over the age of 18.

Not sure if your market is similar but I found a majority of folks that we did business with regarding buying their houses were over age of 50.

The classic advice is somewhere around 50/50 split between stocks and bonds and you adjust that ratio based upon age/risk tolerance. 

Lots of equity on the buy and exactly what we were looking for in terms of layout/space/acreage/property age.
