If you modify your profile to show your location, you might get a recommendation for your area instead of just random banks.

This helps in getting in touch with someone quicker without having to wait for your colleague request to be accepted.Also, you get special tracking data which shows you who visited your blog, your profile, your website, etc. and where they came from.There are many more benefits as well, but I look at it mostly as one of my ways I give back financially to BP.
