Do you really think any banker will disobey an order from a court to turn over banking records? 

The friend was a retired banker with tons of money.

They did let me talk to people they claimed were the banker and CPA but no one was willing to put anything in writing.I was able to verify the real estate ownership via the county website.

And if I lived in that area, I would be calling you up right now to get an introduction to your bankers. :-)The logic of it makes some sense though.

This would also be extremely useful for me working as a MLO for a broker. we are not aloud to choose our appraisers unless you are a Banker and have a warehouse line to fund from, they are selected out of a Pool and sometimes they are not even from the area and have no idea about the local RE market...it would help both the buyer, seller and me as the LO.Just a very useful tool to have for someone in the RE industry

After talking to bankers all over Kansas City, there aren't any banks in town that will give me favorable financing because it is a commercial loan.
