Now obviously foreclosure is still a possibility when necessary, so they CAN get your note out if they really want, but he said it is really difficult and to do it for a due on sale clause would probably be even harder today with so many huge players buying up these new securities by the billions.He said the due on sale clause was written at a time where banks that gave you loans often kept them and serviced them in house.

@Twana Rasoul a lot of the more established players in commercial real estate (that don't have to make money on acquisition fees) are doing this - moving money out of more volatile tertiary markets and into more core markets so they have more downside protection when a correction occurs.
