I'm an investor w 2 properties in New York,  Hudson Valley, Orange county looking at moderate expansion and investments in single/multi family houses.

My concern is I already have 1 property townhouse being rented out and another property single family home that I'm ready to close on at the end of the month.

so you'r son is a real estate investor from 1 day, nice ;)thanks, i'm definitely trying to do just that, regarding multi family, i am keeping all my options open, i think i would like to start with a single family house, to get to know the business, since i'm not from around here i also have a lot of logistics to handle on top the of the rental. as it said, i'm really keeping my head open. so open that currently on the table is investing in multiple countries not just the us :D

:) That would’ve been perfect if I were single, but we have a newborn so I wouldn’t feel comfortable with having a roommate and sharing common areas with someone else at this time.  

I work quite a bit more than most since I'm single and I am able.

Not every single thing you do in life has to have a financial payoff - just enough things such that, on balance, you come out ahead :)

Electricians can "fish" wires through walls and set up for you new electrical panels for each unit.No need to displace the four households.

I have not done a single deal and I am in the learning phase of my career.
