so you'r son is a real estate investor from 1 day, nice ;)thanks, i'm definitely trying to do just that, regarding multi family, i am keeping all my options open, i think i would like to start with a single family house, to get to know the business, since i'm not from around here i also have a lot of logistics to handle on top the of the rental. as it said, i'm really keeping my head open. so open that currently on the table is investing in multiple countries not just the us :D

:) That would’ve been perfect if I were single, but we have a newborn so I wouldn’t feel comfortable with having a roommate and sharing common areas with someone else at this time.  

I work quite a bit more than most since I'm single and I am able.

Not every single thing you do in life has to have a financial payoff - just enough things such that, on balance, you come out ahead :)

My goals are to purchase a single here in Boston, build a team near CT or Springfield Ma made of contractors, a lawyer and a handy man. 

I made a deal for all four properties (3 singles occupied at $700/ month and one vacant double that needs $30k of repairs) for 100k.

I am looking to leverage my equity some by selling some paId off single family homes I have and 1031 exchanging into bigger multifamily complexes.
