I know each state is a bit different, but I was wondering if anyone know the legality in Maryland of getting a house under lease option (as the principle in the deal), then assigning the lease and option to a tenant buyer for a fee.Anyone have any experience with this is the DC/MD/VA area.

I would suggest either staying in your principle residence or investing in another SFH but NOT moving into it and NOT going the route of living in a duplex (or similar scenario) because:a) For your principal residence all your capital gains that you have accumulated up to $500k (since your married) are TAX FREE.
