I am trying to find a mentor and a job in the field 

I'm interested in learning about Investing,  I have someone who will be mentoring me.   

Looking for mentor to help me learn and my skill in the real estate game. longterm goal is to build a great real estate business/portfolio and get into development. 

Some of the best advice I ever got was from a mentor who is a solid entrepreneur who said, "This time in your life is the best time for you to take risks because you've really got nothing to lose".

I'm comfortable calculating present/future value of notes.I'm thinking I need:1) A mentor to partner with on a few deals to get started.2) A loan servicing company3) A real estate attorney4) Ongoing sources of notes as close as possible to the loan originator.What other resources and team members should I bring to the party at this stage?  

Really unless you find a mentor that will let you do deals "with" them.  

Is it deals, dollars, mentor, resources, attorney, title, insurance, whatever your top items are...When you get in the room, seek out the quality, meaningful relationships that will help you move your business forward.
