For some reason tho, I never made any good connections from it, like I have at some other conferences. 

As an agent, you likely have several clients, so ask them if they have had any good experiences with contractors.Your client can do the same with their network.Good contractors are one of the hardest things to find for a flip.  

I say all this to illustrate in the Minnesota market that these rules can be good starting points but you’ll need experience to understand how to apply the rules.

Section 8 has good and bad.

As long as you have a good layout, I feel there is more opportunity in the older home space, IF bought at the right price.

To be good at Section 8, you have to understand what you are getting into, how the system works, the variability of tenancy, and you need to be on it all the time.I think people keep asking about this because the government pays you.
