Banks want investors to have skin in the game to lower their risk, especially given the state of the economy.

The packet was very professional...color, TOC, tabs, and bound. 

This can certainly be view as a doom and gloom scenario or, for some, an inevitability as we continue to infinitely print money—it is food for thought especially for those of you who are looking to get into real estate and plan to have very little to no skin in the game.

The guy who inspected our 203k (for final approval) literally didn't even look at the repairs on the 2nd floor, and took pictures of a "repaired wall" that wasn't even the correct wall..not even the same color room. 

on BP its more like TOTALLY fake lenders trying to get the newbies to send in small deposit money then go dark on them.

One of my cleaners yesterday was telling me about a Gatlinburg house that passed inspection with flying colors, but after closing the city came and shut them down.  

I didn't end up covered in blood but I have absolutely zero idea of what looks good and you would probably laugh if you saw some of the colors/finishes I put in my first rehab.....Good luck!
