I’ve heard of people converting them to laundromats if the market supports it.

I'd be open to hiring someone to convert for me or use FB ads.

Does anyone have experience in converting an apartment complex into a condo? 

I have one rental which is my starter home that I converted to an income property after moving out this January.

At the expiration of this Lease on August 31, 2020, the lease shall be converted to a month-to-month lease at the same monthly rental rate of $1,900.00 per month.

During that period, I ended up buying a horse barn and converting it into a post and beam home.

I looked at some single family homes that were converted to multi family and those really attract interesting people. 

You generally cannot convert personal, non-deductible expenses into deductible expenses by renting your personal residence to yourself... 

The garage portion of the one bedroom could eventually be converted into a studio and be rented for $500 or so.

Convert the house to a rental and when they sell a year later they would still get the full primary residence exemption which they'd use to pay off their first Vegas property  and 1031 the remainder into a new rental in Vegas.
