Just listened to Brett Swarts interview on the Apartment Building Investing Podcast with Michael Blank.

He asked an open ended question along the lines of "how is [blank] to work with" Basically I said his work is great, he is about the only person you can hire in this line of work who is always on time, he never drinks a beer while working, etc. etc. which should be the standard but we all know is not.

While I have yet to venture into the multi-unit arena, I do check out deals on occasion and like to listen to those who are familiar with multis.

I also believe business should be conducted with honesty, loyalty and by not being greedy.I have witnessed and heard stories from investors getting cheated by many PM's in Rochester that would tack on stupid fees on top of maintenance calls.On a few occasions it was proven that no work was even carried out and it was a fake maintenance expense.Its very sad to see these these things happening.Thanks and have a great day.
