North county, saint ann, saint john & ucity will probably be your best bet.Investors seem to shy away from velda city and immediate surrounding, pagedale. 63112 is filled with both trash and treasure.Everywhere else is very competitive.  

I live in the OKC metro and am targetting the surrounding cities (Moore, Yukon). 3 months ago the numbers made a lot more sense than they do right now.

I work in HR & payroll full time right now and want to start making moves to prepare to 1) start investing when we're in Texas and 2) surround myself with people who are involved in real estate and fill my time with real estate.

Would be willing to invest in surrounding areas as well if the deal is right.

The owner also owns two other houses in surrounding neighborhoods.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned is to surround yourself with like minded people.... so here is my attempt.

For example in greater Seattle near the Microsoft campus, its surrounded by bi levels and people pay well over $700k for them.  

If someone lists their property for sale on the open market, then we pursue the property (Within reason) so that other people can’t block our assemblage.We are using different entities to hold  title to the properties.If we purchase enough of the surrounding property, we would like to approach the city and rezone the land from office to mixed-use (Residential over retail).Any thoughts or strategies you have employed to make an assemblage successful?
