When I first read that metric, I was a bit shocked that retention was as high as it is and the band was as narrow as it is given how entrepreneurial your industry seems.

I was shocked, I absolutely hated it.  

I live in California, and you would be shocked at the hoards of illegal money that gets filtered into real estate deals by drug cartels and growers wanting places to grow pot etc.

But I do want to touch on the Landlord side of the situation and the damage control measures that should be done when something like this occurs.Initial shock – after discovering the tenant I went into shock and had no idea what to do.
