I'm thinking that maybe the house shifted a bit as part of the move and that there are no real issues with the house.I'm trying to get a contractor to check out the property and let us know if there are any significant issues they can see, but from my understanding, even getting structural engineers to check out the property would require significant time and resources to perform a full evaluation.

If they are, they will be much more likely to know who the most likely buyers are, which re-trade on a regular basis, which have performed in the past, and which are in exchanges or are otherwise highly motivated.

So if property prices have been consistently rising you can ususally assume the same for your property as long as its not in a lower class neighborhood which tend to not rise in value.
