I was thinking, if I can get a handyman out there asap just to do some clean up and maybe put a tarp over the roof 'holes' if possible, and with the next step, coordinating my insurance adjustor and my property manager to evaluate this....and go from there?

You could invest that in multifamily now via a syndication (I have someone I can connect you with)...and do absolutely nothing and make a nice return on it...Or you can go out and find your own single family deals, renovate them, and end up with a much better return (but more work).I live in CO and buy houses in the southeast.

@Jamila ThompsonJust check with co-op or condo board there’s no restrictions on renting or leasing it out. most will allow it for 12 month leases just not Airbnb type stuff.
