Found this in My Texas Real Estate Principle 2 Book"TMARR requires that all persons who conduct assessment and remediation of mold be properly trained and licensed by the state.Under the rules, a person is not required to be licensed to perform mold remediation in an area in which the mold contamination affects a total surface area of less than 25 contiguous square feet.

@Julie CookI work in an area with many private roads they are regulated either through a Homeowners Association to cover the cost of maintaining the road, drainage and other grading and culvert issues.

Hi Derek,BE sure and do your due diligence, check your majors, HVAC, Plumbing, roof, electrical, check to see if the county denied permits for remodeling, or has any existing conditions for remodeling, like red tagged HAVAC units, or sewer lines....Not trying to muddy your deal, sounds good if you don't have any of these issues lurking under the surface.
