I'm fully supportive of SEO, but I have to assume that the massive number of veteran wholesalers who continue to use cold calling and DMM to try to make a connection before Google gets consulted have some reason for expending all that effort.

I will talk to anyone who puts in more effort than a template.

There are lots of people with a lot of money out there that are looking for an honest person to trust and get honest returns on their money with little effort

Look at the difference between most investors' method, and mine.Most spend a ton of money and/or effort on reaching people without having a clue whether those people are motivated or not.Only AFTER  they spend money and/or time/effort will they find out whether or not they are motivated.How does that honestly make ANY sense?

Doesn't take much more effort than using the 1% rule but tells a much more complete story about the deal :) 

You could also just use SEO.For a small town like that it should be too easy to rank #1 and dominate.If you do that, not only don;t you have to go to your town and do all the work to get leads and then send mailers to them, you also wouldn't have to pay a cent for these leads.SEO is weirdly pretty much unheard of while it is the absolute best way to get leads/deals hands down without exception.No effort!

The lofty ones are just harder to achieve...but worth the effort.

Do what you say you'll do and show that you'll put in the effort.

I’ve put so much time and effort into becoming a CPA, all while investing very actively in real estate.

But, why go through the effort and expense to create a weak defense?
