@Ellie Hanson  how do you handle the kids that chain themselves to the tree's you need to cut down on your 50/100 lot to build a new house.. and to make matters even stranger the tree's many times are not natives  :)And whats up with the Zoo I missed that one are they mad at the new Elephant exhibit.And Oregon would not be here if it were not for the timber industry ... such short memories Techtronix  Intel  Nike are all companies that came in the 80's with Tech maybe a little earlier .. for the preceeding 150 years it was timber.

I'm not mad at them.....free market enterprise and all that....but when (some) folks see that in an intitial thread the peron posing a question doesn't have a picture on their profile......AND they also don't have a profile even halfway filled out, they generally don't take you as serious as others.

The problem is this.1) when tenant moves out, they don't have to provide me a forwarding address2) they could also change their email and or cell phone number as well3) my attorney says it's a conflict of interest to try and get the tenant's forwarding address from the tenant's attorney (they will most likely not provide this information)4) I do have the tenant's driver's license and US passportSo how do I go about obtaining the tenant's present address when there's no obligation on their part to provide it.

I understand the increased rent and the property being kept up better (maybe), but the risks are too great for me and I just don't like the concept.Good luck to whoever chooses to get involved in this , but I liked what @Paul Sandhu said a while back - it's like letting someone rent you car who then rents it out to various Uber drivers.....

But I did have a pretty thorough vetting process, including calling all the references he gave me, not paying anything down since I was paying for material, and snapping a picture of his current driver's license for ID verification.
