The guy I spoke to at the city literally told me almost anything would be possible or could be changed so long as I apply for the right permit.

Hi I'm Christian I'm 17, a junior in highschool, from California, and plan to be moving to Sydney, Australia for college after my senior year.

Look at new building permits, home sales, foreclosure activity, etc.  

Fast forward 3 years and I am out of the USMC, back in Minnesota, looking at going into college for a real estate business degree.

There is a great report posted on the FIG website as well in the blog section talking specifically about Multifamily vacancy rates and also the amount of permits to build and how that will affect vacancy as a whole over the next few years.

Also down here in SD, but lived in Hermosa for 10 years and went to college in the IE so am always looking at options throughout So Cal.  

I've sent emails to friends and family, send messages through Facebook to alot of people I went to college with, and try to mention that I'm looking for investors to anyone who will listen.

Room additions made by the owner, some rooms were permitted and some werent, owner built an underground bomb shelter which was permitted, and basically the house was just pieced together like Legos.

@Paul Taing - are you going to get permits and make it all official-like?

I ended up getting busted for work without permits delayed the project about another month and a half.
