I hear ya on living off the govmit teat its generational and systemic .. the year i spent in Jackson MS some of my clients that were raised there said that about 7 out of 10 residents of the city got some sort of govmit help .. from housing to food to medical to who knows what else. my point was the starbucks barista who risks scalding them selves daily where do they live. ??

I have minimal debt, just  CC usage for a medical procedure for my child.

The household expenses (utilities, medical, transportation, food, clothes, childcare, pocket money etc.) total $2,000 per month.

Real estate always appreciates over time, and there may come a time in life when you are glad you held on to this property... whether you need to cash-out refinance for your kid's college, sell it for retirement, pay for emergency medical treatment, or simply use it to leverage funds to buy more.

I also have three commercial medical units listed, each roughly 1M, and one for lease.
