Potentially "flipping up" once or twice between now and then, eventually retiring to the property, or selling to acquire a retirement property there.I'm an experienced, long-time licensed agent in Atlanta and have done many fix and flip deals in the Atlanta area, but really don't have any experience with STR or MTR, especially in Fl.

Hey @Dan Miles - Manage strictly to the terms of the lease.

They are able to use the very advantageous terms and VA loan program to purchase homes that eventually become rentals properties.

I'm looking to purchase 10-15 new-build single family homes (250k-$300k range) as long term holds.

The more specific your term is the easier it will be to figure out if someone's asked it before.

long term rentals are a fantastic long term investment. 

My goal (and that of most of us in real estate, I imagine), is to build long term wealth and generate enough income so that I don't have to work a typical 9-5 job.

In my head I'd want to buy a property cash or creative terms with a private money partner for the home and maybe a 2nd partner for the furnishing and start-up funding.
