However, for what ever reason, the lower tenant (according to the upper tenant) has been mean, rude, saying things like the backyard is only for the lower unit, they had a door decorating "competition" for Halloween which turned into the lower tenant yelling at the upper tenant.

So if you ever buy a home and the appraised value comes back in very low ( make sure to verify with other legit comps that the home is worth what you are contracted to buy it for ) you could file a BBB complaint and possibly get the value corrected.

And I don't see any reason why you would ever want to close them yourself.Your credit score would not be negatively affected by having an open credit card with a zero or low balance.
