You NEVER know who will be your biggest connection, so its important to meet and keep up with every genuine person you find in the industry.

Having looked at other peoples first deals has inspired me and I hope to inspire others.

The thing that I have realized over the past few years of going to networking events is that 99.999% of real estate investors and folks in our industry are extremely willing to genuinely give each other real value and help each other succeed.

As the ratios become less favorable for investors that will slow activity but the demand is still quite strong and driven by genuine growth trends.  

I may have been inspired by Robert Kiyosaki, because I was reading all his books at the time.  

I am apart of the Honors College and for my Honors thesis I chose to focus on "House Hacking" and financial independence after becoming extremely inspired after reading Scott Trench's book, Set for Life, as a freshman.

He inspired me to take action.

Consistency and ALWAYS refining yourself and trying to improve are two huge indicators of success when talking about anything, but especially raising capital.Having a product that you genuinely believe in and know front to back certainly helps too ;)

But, when I do a referral, they appreciate my clients because they know they are real, are not tire kickers and are genuinely good people.
