I've read some posts about people from out of the country who buy in the worst D-class Detroit-like areas because someone sold them some numbers that "looked good" on paper.This is why I've stressed in many of the "2% rule" posts about how that "rule" doesn't apply in all markets. 

This has been very stressful and a nightmare.

Whenever I think something is going wrong in a deal, I just think about the deal where I kept the seller in it, and the problem de'jour melts away by comparison.It ended up making money, but was such a stressful drawn out drama of arm twisting and posturing that I think I started going gray before that deal finally closed.

I feel that while I am fortunate to have landed such a well paying job, my situation is different than most investors and therefore I am a little stressed.

This way you have management in place and it will help ease your stress if you have to suddenly leave.
