I would position it (diplomatically) that you work hard on your business to help improve the neighborhood and pay your share of municipal taxes, and you just want a reciprocation of that investment to repair the "city's property."

If you have a local REALTOR you can contact there is a feature in RPR that will take an improvement on a home and consider the area and it will let you know if it will help the resell.

Maybe use this to help with closing costs and improvements for your multi-unit home you want to live in/rent the other units.This would let you charge more for the other units being rented and increases your cash flow.

The buyer is somewhat handy and may be making improvements to the home over the three years possibly reducing the 203k loan amount.From what i've read it takes at least 3 years to qualify for a FHA.
