If hte HOA is the RSF and the Art Jury is the review committee then I feel your pain.  

They are very economical with time and take care of their health as they recognize the things that you cannot replace as a commodity and value privacy as the luxury it really is.

Trash receptacles are somewhat common but are a pain.  

I just wanted to help family ... the money is not there, but we're so blessed financially that my wife and I only wanted to help our poor kin ... ... though she's bad at managing finances through whatever reason, she's still a very good person, bless her heart, and the worst that could happen is we would be owning another set of property ... the location is excellent for student rentals ... right beside UofToronto, Scarborough and Centennial College plus the huge PanAm arena where people go for health reasons and right on the major highway as well ......

I've got an eclectic background (qualified electrical engineer, computing background in health services, data architect in financial services) but my long term passion has been property renovation - I like the hands-on work!

In other words what are some of the more painful things about being a RE Investor.

It is a pain to find.

I'm pretty set on Vancouver or Burnaby, I just really prefer urban living, and I love being by the ocean for lifestyle as well as health reasons (dry thin air doesn't do my skin or lungs any good).  

That's become painfully apparent over the last year or so that we've really started talking about where to live. 

We hauled off the meth exploded trailer $1,100 and worked with the health department to insure no contamination from the meth lab.
