I have to imagine even outside of vacation rentals, having done inspections and working in commercial, you may have an inside track on properties that are under-valued or mis-valued by conventional metrics (perhaps not highest and best use).

When I pulled up that case law it also pulled up a great mini article on how to pierce a corporate veil and as you will see and imagine, many of these quit claim to LLC operate in this manner.
