Hi everyone, I am a year out of college and eager to get more involved in the real estate industry.

I am selling with a discounted broker, however, I think even if I were to sell with a higher-end real estate agent, there doesn't seem to be a ton of demand for showings.

There is licensing and certifications for real estate agents.

Your next real estate competition might not be Black Rock or Bezos...it could be coming from the family of the friends you grew up with. 

Not trying to cheat the system, just trying to understand what I'm looking as I consider real estate options.Separately, would something with an ADU be considered a multifamily?  

If the price is above your number then it is not meant to be Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?

I would also talk to leasing brokers for this type of property to understand if there is real appetite from tenants for this type of building, as even if it doesn't directly impact your approach, it will give you some insights into how a potential buyer may be looking at it.

Even without a track record these individuals presumably know you as an upstanding and trustworthy guy and this means you only have to sell them on the merits of the real estate.
