Are any of you using direct booking sites for your STR’s? If so how do they charge? Also do they offer the option for the guest to buy insurance? TIA!

Weakness are lack of liquid capital and confidence, even though i have a pretty good grasp on the fundamentals of investing and how it works.

So, if there local market fundamentals are not looking good to them, they might look to out of area or out of state markets for opportunities.

There’s a little bit of market analysis I did myself but I’m confident it’s not far off if at all, basically information anyone can find on a web browser and put two and two together.

What one buys is fundamental. 

Mortgage rates continue to rise, demand seems very soft (based on closed sales, # of withdrawn listings, & mortgage apps staying at 22yr lows), Austin's price to rent ratio already is one of the highest in the nation, & now there apperars to be this large 'shadow inventory' with sellers who want to sell but aren't able to..Even with all the headwinds, still feel there aren't many markets with better economic fundamentals.

It appears tenant bent down to avoid the webs rather than remove the webs.
