Which neighborhoods to focus on or avoid?

I live inbetween Colorado Springs and Denver and serve both areas - focusing on investments in The Springs and primary occupants in Denver Metro.

So I’ve been focusing on single family homes.

That is why from the beginning I made the latter my main focus. 

There’s a much larger percentage of retail sales, what’s the reason for selecting to focus on the smaller piece of the pie?

@Bryan Mitchell I would focus on buying in a very solid area that will attract quality tenants.

I normally tell folks to focus first on their property management relationship.

@Brian Eastman  You have focused on the word "between". 

I am currently keeping my focus in Lubbock.
