I grew up in both lower and upper Vailsburg. lower Vailsburg it's still a bit rough.

I grew up helping my grandparents manage an 85 unit apartment complex and manage my own local properties.

I grew up "poor dad" so learning to be frugal was a process but is paying off. 

At one point, our rents received turned into $19,000 in savings (on $43k down) so of course I was thinking this was easy money and once this savings grew I would buy another and keep adding and adding to the portfolio.
