Intersting advise from your mortgage brokers - transferring title into an LLC after closing is almost certainly a violation or your mortgage contract and will trigger the a "due on sale" clause.

I have known people that  didn’t want to pull the trigger on a house,  but didn’t want anybody else to have it either. 

My husband and I just pulled the trigger on our first long-term rental in Raleigh, NC.

Most likely the state where the property is located is where lawsuits would be brought if they are something for personal injury like a trip and fall or something of that nature because the “cause of action” arose in that state.

I'd recommond reaching out to someone you know who is here to look at the areas/houses and send videos, or if you get some House Hunting check out both spots before pulling the trigger. 

That triggers title 24 compliance and other headaches.
