Particularly relevant considering you're looking at SFH and will be competing with retail buyers.

Craigslist, Zillow and Trulia come to mind but I've also heard of, and used, Rentprov and Hotpads.Each apartment competes with all others on the market, so look where your customers (tenants) look, and see what else they're going to see right next to yours, when they're deciding which 3 apartments they're going to look at today.

Instead of getting custom made tall doors, I am looking for someone who can build that small wall section that is horizontal above most closet doors. 

Also, many providers jack up rates when you're no longer a new customer.
