You can definitely have multiple 1031 exchanges in a single year (I am assuming these are on DIFFERENT investment properties). 

@Reesey Ann - To this point, you might want to invest in some security measures to ensure this does not happen again.

And he still has his own projects going where he makes 100 to 150k per house usually doing 2 to 3 a year.. so depending on what one thinks good income is can determine if one thinks that is worth it. 

I started my real estate investing journey earlier this year by buying an out of state property in Detroit Michigan with the goal to fix and flip as a turnkey.

Chris on this one with Electra I have to put some blame on them as well. invest 5.2 mil then say you were duped ??
