Good afternoon allJust for general discussion.....and I know there is a lot of information not given....I was discussing with several colleagues at a recent investor meet up, on their thoughts on best practice/method to acquire another property management company in our geographic location.We were approached by another management company who's owner wanted to retire and presented us with an offer.Original discussions with the other management company(seller) had them wanting a one time payout, say $100,000.

This way, you can still house hack while aligning with your long-term goals.

It puts us a little behind at the beginning of each new year but honestly, I think it brings everyone back refreshed and more efficient when they do come back and we also take that time off so it's nice to know that I'm not ignoring emails from them.I've heard good things from other investors that have used Rocket Station and Hire Train VA to find theirs but I can't speak to that experience personally.

I also believe there will generally always be a demand for gc's/contractors in the long run and it is a real estate adjacent which would keep me "in the know" for off market deals and opportunities in my area.

It’s a tried-and-true way to build long-term wealth, with tax benefits like depreciation and the ability to leverage financing.

The good thing about a collection agency is that it can report the judgment to all three credit reporting agencies.
