We live in small town Arkansas with a very low cost of living.

Hi @Asif Ali Kabiruddin RajaniBeing a non-resident, I only invest in short-term rentals because, given my current situation, it's the only strategy that's profitable enough and not too risky.

I have heard the "Find a good deal and the money will follow...." but I am making offers on very low priced homes and if you to close on the deal, you don't have much time to find some lender.I have found two houses, one for $5,600 and another for $6,400.   

But a low purchase price sadly won’t matter if the house barely rents at all unfortunately
