I forgot to add that we are traveling to Charlotte and Asheville in July and will be going to a REIA meeting in both cities as well as meeting with a prospective real estate agent.

Either travel to the county and do the research yourself or hire a reasonably local abstractor or title company to help you out.

Me, my husband, and two children moved to Michigan about 8 months ago for my husband's medical residency.

The BP community gave me advice on not getting started in real estate right now and focus on a job and save some capital and travel a little while making as little liabilities as possible.

Medical field is a real long journey without good compensation and if you build your portfolio early enough before you start the residency, it would be really helpful for your future.

Me personally I started in a tech high school studing Carpentry and did that for a while after high school, worked in the record labels in NYC, club promotion, car sales, medical, insurance, etc... and did a full circle to what I love... something about treading through over grown, vacant, smelly, flee infested, houses has a very theraputic effect on me.

We may not be actors/models, but there are some decent looking folks on here - I even recall one member appearing on SNL back in the day :) I would have been happy to travel to location and do the shot where there are 2 people wind-sailing in the sunset!

The bathroom toilet appears to have overflowed (when the water was on) and there is dried up feces and toilet tissue all over the bathroom floor. and that is just the downstairs...I only took pictures of the downstairs because I forgot to take pics while I was in there and had to come back after I had already left the property...but the smell was so bad I didn't want to stay in the house let alone travel up to the second floor.

We enjoy traveling, boating on Lake LBJ, live music, hiking with our dogs and spending time with our family.
