@Sarah Lam  this is just part and parcel with being a landlord.these are not annuities these are RE investments... you need to engage and be engaged if your going to maximize your return.... how about your property tax's have you gotten your new bill since you closed..... thats were the shock usually comes in for those that bought in Texas and were not aware.. many talk about any cash flow goes poof once the tax's reset... .keep at it.... and keep on top of it.

Realtors with jacked up credit that are behind on their taxes and can't themselves get a mortgage (shockingly common), guess what those clients, and their realtor buddies, and those realtor buddy clients, all look like... realtors sometimes don't like it when I say things like "introduce me to your realtor buddies?"
