Still looking into areas in NJ (I work physically in NYC and would need to be close by once offices open up)I have 5k saved up now and will have 25k by March 2021 ending ..and that's a conservative projection.I would like to buy my first used car so I'm mobile as I look for property in NJ.I have 10k saved to buy the used car and am looking at cars in the 7-8k range.My question for you guys is: Am I overspending considering my REI goal?

Parents have their personal mobile home parked in their rental unit.

The mobile living unit would be more of a luxury right now (plus if you are doing the renovation work yourself, you aren’t speeding the process, you can only work on one unit at a time).

 I listen to the bigger pockets podcast all the time, and recently I've gotten really interested in mobile home parks.

In the case of an emergency, you may want to consider giving your tenants the number to your super, family member, or friend and give one of those people permission to mobilize a crew in the event of an emergency. 

But more importantly, I look back and realized the real value was time and mobility freedom.

You might also want to start looking into mobile home park investing since this is a niche you might already be somewhat familiar with.

How would I get financing for a property that has 5 rentals (Mobile homes) and includes a brick homes that I would live in.

Mobile home parks and self storage have been seeing huge returns and may very well outperform apartments.I may be missing the forest from the trees so let me know if I'm off the mark.
