Also, there are a few investors who purchase multifamily apartments in Indianapolis on these forums, @Sterling White comes to mind off the top of my head.

I strongly suggest that you search "Morris Invest" in the forums.

BP won't allow to post meet up info in the forum.

Another thing I suggest is to put that city name in here as a keyword alert on your profile so you know when people area talking about it and look for any forums specifically for that city. 

I have spent the past 6 months or so educating myself on REI as much as possible primarily here on BP by listening to countless podcasts, posting tons on the forums, analyzing hypothetical deals, networking with other investors, realtors, wholesalers, lenders, contractors, etc.
