My goal was originally to use the leapfrog technique, but last year with one kid here and one on the way we said screw it and moved into the home we see ourselves staying in for a while. 

Lots cheaper than poly, easier to apply and can be done by your cleaning people.The next higher technique we use is "screening" where instead of using sandpaper, they use a screen like a window screen to just take the top coat off the floors, leaving most of the existing poly, then apply one coat of poly, dries same day.

Enthusiastic, entertaining ... but I never was able to make his techniques work.

not saying this is whats happening but those were the same sales techniques that lured Morris invest folks to make irrational purchases.. its called the take away close.. and again I am not saying anyone in Memphis is doing this..

Common technique, but it's not nearly as simple as it sounds unless you've got a pretty sophisticated and effective process. 

She's still in violation of the rules and the intent of the rules; her only "trick" is making it harder to discover.I don't believe in building wealth by cheating and I wouldn't recommend her technique.

Some of us feel very strongly about our "technique" because it's either made us very successful or we have seen others get burned by doing it differently. 

The market and the circumstances drives the technique to use in any deal.
