Maybe if you can scale it up like you probably have.. but your average investor will never scale up.. one financing precludes its.. and or they are too busy making money at home.The real true wealth is made in path of progress plays.... and appreciation if your going to be a small time player.. but those go against conventional wisdom of CASH flow is the only way.  

Now he's out after his third time but, hopefully, only for a short time because, it appears, he's cashed out/hidden at least 300K of his now dead mothers CD's while he was "caring" for her in her final days.And that's why I won't ever rent to a felon again.Gail

There are a couple of other turn-key players in town that you may want to check in to as well.

If you have higher quality tenants that require a little more personal attention and higher rent it's a good idea; for Type C/D rentals I wouldn't bother.

Like in sports, the older players may not be as agile and strong as the youngsters, but they have more experience and better strategies and know how to harness what they have and make it work. 

Because of this, choosing real estate tech investments relies less on the specific technology that a company is creating, and more on their ability to sell that tech to the big players in the industry.

I have a 4 unit that is in a C/D neighborhood in Long Beach CA and I need to install cameras but I don't want to spend to much money nor do I have wifi for the system.

There just was not the turn key presence there was or is in say a Memphis were you have 2 or 3 of the bigger players in the industry all working the same market...
