If I am incorrect, you probably need to pay the mortgage anyways since they can now foreclosure since the property isn't owned by a veteran anymore the SCRA shouldn't apply and even if the lender doesn't realize it it won't apply forever and you'll eventually need to pay it PLUS the amount is rising with interest, fees etc.

I can't yet afford to buy anything for myself in the city, let alone a multi-family, so I ended up buying my very first property out of state.My high-rise building is located in an "A" neighborhood and was recently sold to a new owner.

The other thing we did is place a temperature sensor in the boiler and it alerts us if the boiler temperature goes below a certain level.
