How much do you keep in reserves, and have you ever faced a situation where cash reserves saved you?

I’m definitely looking into areas where it’s always a first pick for expats by default.

I have lived in Truckee for over 23 years and understand the pain you can go through dealing with a local government where the answer you received on Monday is different than the answer you receive on Tues, Wed, Thur & maybe even Friday if anyone is working.

I think there is a great chance to get some long term investments in areas where the growth is not happening yet or just starting to happen.

I'm not the greatest storyteller, but it seemed like i was taken advantage of, and i'm at a point in my life right now where i'm clueless and i'm not even sure if Real Estate is the right path for me anymore...

@Dana Boyd our water is paid through the HOA where the cabin is located.
