They responded to my request after the third day and ask for my mortgage statements and after getting the doc they enabled my account.

In court, a lot of requests from tenants is to seal the record so that it doesn't appear on credit reports. 

In my state if the tenant requests I would have to hold the items up to 30 days but then storage fees could kick in.

Property never recorded or closed, attorney wired the funds before anything was finalized for any CPL to matter and E&O with fraud claim is also out the window. but I’ll take this one to PM with you since I’m more focused on what if anything could happen later against the prior lien holder and seller for negotiating a “favor” and increase the payoff and keeping the money refusing to send back to the closing attorney after the closing attorney requested the recall. 

However, can you imagine how many service requests would come in for silly stuff related to printers?
